Qantas
Qantas offers services from Australia via the West Coast of America to Canada. Passengers will need to transit via Los Angeles or San Francisco before entering Canada. Services beyond the West Coast into Canada will be on one of Qantas’ airline partners.
First, business and economy class operate on all routes from Australia to the West Coast of America. First class may not be offered on all services.
First Class
Qantas offers their first class passengers dedicated check in, access to the lounge and a dedicated lane at the boarding gate. Onboard your first class seat stretches out to bed which is 198cm long, power outlets for your laptop and beautiful amenities for your trip.
Business Class
Business class guests are also offered dedicated check in, use of the lounge and a dedicated boarding lane. Once onboard relax on your Skybed which although is not fully flat reclines to be able to allow you to catch some Z’s before landing. Your seat offers a list of features such as back massage, laptop power, privacy screen and more.
Premium Economy
Premium Economy is offered on selected flights from Australia to Los Angeles. You are offered priority check in, ergonomically designed seats with a recline of 9” and width of 19.5”. Dedicated in-flight crew will look after you for your entire journey and you will also receive amenities including noise cancelling headset.
Economy Class offers you comfort in their ergonomically designed seats with adjustable headrests for better sleeping posture and built in lumbar support. Your dedicated in-flight crew will make sure you are looked after every part of the way.
Food
Dining Qantas offers a choice of complimentary inflight meals and snacks based on the best produce and ingredients. In First and Business, restaurant-style menus are designed by renowned Australian chef and restaurateur Neil Perry. First customers can enjoy an eight course tasting menu and a selection of up to 12 main courses on some sectors.
Business customers can choose from a range of menu options, a room service breakfast and refreshments are available throughout the flight. Premium Economy offers a Neil Perry-inspired menu, premium wines and refreshments. A choice of two main meal options is available in Economy, along with ice creams, hot chocolate, herbal teas, fresh fruit and Snack on Q, an assortment of quality snack foods.
Wine Qantas sources more than four million bottles of wine each year and offers more than 300 different wines, showcasing the diversity of the Australian industry. A panel of qualified judges and respected winemakers lends further specialist expertise to the airline’s award winning position in the industry. Qantas cabin crew are sommelier trained. Now in its fifth edition, a wine guide with tasting notes on more than 100 wines served over a six month is also available inflight and at qantas.com.
Entertainment
Both First and business class offer a personalised 26” screen with noise cancelling headsets. Relax and choose from over 400 programmes such as movies, audio programmes and TV shows.
All economy seats feature a personal 16” screen, headset and on demand control over what your watch, with over 400 programs to choose from.
Your sporting equipment is included in your baggage allowance. Heading to North America you are able to take 2 bags of 23kg’s.
