Ontario
For culture, cuisine and sophistication Ontario is the place to go in Canada. It is home to Canada’s biggest city Toronto: a metropolis full of multicultural arts, fantastic food and great entertainment. Ontario is also home to Niagara Falls, Ottawa and enough national parks to keep you hiking and canoeing for months.
The Sights
Head to the main cities of Toronto and Ottawa to sample the culinary delights of Canada, dabble in some culture and take in the bright city lights.
Get wet at Niagara Falls. This is an amazing sight to see but there is more than just water in this region. Niagara produces some of the finest wine in the country. Take a drive along the Niagara wine trail and sample the local produce.
Ontario’s great outdoors will take you to see the brilliant burnt oranges, browns and yellows of autumn, whisk you down rivers, over white water and ride into the sunset on horseback.
Accommodation
In the cities you have a choice of accommodation to choose from to suit your style and hip pocket. As you head into the hills you can take advantage of cosy cabins, bed and breakfasts or camp sites.
Getting There
The main airports to service Ontario are Toronto and Ottawa. Via Rail also provides services into Toronto, Ottawa, Niagara Falls as well as most of the major cities of the province.
